Getting There and Away

All of our charters leave from and arrive back to Padang in Sumatra, Indonesia.
Air Asia fly from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Padang (PDG) daily.  Kuala Lumpur connects with most world wide destinations.
Lion Air, Garuda Indonesia and Batavia Air fly from Jakarta (JKT) to Padang (PDG) daily.  Jakarta also connects with most world wide destinations.
When booking flights aim to fly in on the first date of your charter and out on the last date. For example if your charter dates are the April 1-12 you would aim to fly in on the 1st of April and fly out on the 12th of April.  (The “Nyata” does not leave till the afternoon or the early evening of the first day of the charter date and we will have you back in Padang ready to fly out on the morning of the last day of your charter.)

Coming in:
We will meet you at the airport (look for the NYATA representative) from where you will be taken to a hotel to wait for all other guests to arrive. From there you’ll be taken to the “Nyata” to start your charter.

Going out:
We will have you back in Padang on the morning of the last day in time to take you to the airport for your departing flight.

Once Aboard:

Sit back and relax and we can discuss swell conditions and where you want to go. We will then motor through the night to wake up at our first destination then proceed to surf our brains out for the next 10 days.

Visa & Departure Tax:
Coming in you will need $35USD in new notes or 450,000 IRP in cash for visa.
Going out you will need approx 100,000 Indonesian Rupiah (about $10USD) for International departure tax or approx 35,000 IRP (about $4USD) for Domestic departure tax.

Travel Insurance
**Travel Insurance is COMPULSORY (you must have it) for all guests on UST. As we operate in a remote area of Indonesia you MUST have your own travel insurance should you require medivac transportation to the nearest hospital if you were to injure yourself seriously in some way.
